POSM Data Sync — Backup Visual Guide

Use the Backup tab to retrieve inspection sessions from POSM Central to the local computer.

Select a highlighted area of the interface to open the related help topic.

How to use the Visual Guide

Move your pointer over the interface.

When you hover over a clickable area, it will be highlighted in POSM orange. Select the highlighted control to open the detailed help topic.

Backup direction

Backup: POSM Central → Local POSM

Upload and Backup Tabs

Use the tabs at the top of POSM Data Sync to move between Upload and Backup.

The File menu remains available from the Backup tab.

Available commands include:

Use Search to locate a session in the Backup list.

Select Load More to retrieve additional available sessions when more sessions are available than are currently displayed.

Select Show backed up sessions when you want the list to include sessions that have already been backed up to the local computer.

Select the checkbox beside each session you want to back up.

Use Select All to select all displayed sessions.

To select a range:

Select Refresh to refresh the Backup session list and retrieve the latest available information.

After selecting the desired sessions, select Sync to begin backing them up from POSM Central to the local computer.

Backup direction

The Backup workflow retrieves the POSM Central copy to the local computer.

The Activity Log displays synchronization activity and messages.

Use it to review the progress of backup operations and identify synchronization messages or errors.
