About PipeCheck, LLC

Founded in 2009 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, PipeCheck, LLC provides detailed CCTV and specialty pipeline inspection services for municipalities, transportation agencies, contractors, and other clients.

Their field systems include Rausch crawlers, specialized inspection vehicles, and laser profiling tools integrated with POSM Software.

Rausch Equipment + POSM Software

PipeCheck selected Rausch inspection equipment for its specialized inspection and laser profiling capabilities, and uses POSM Software to manage the inspection workflow, associated media, and reporting.

  • POSM records and manages CCTV inspection data and related media.
  • Standardized NASSCO inspection formats support data exchange with compatible systems.
  • Custom reports help PipeCheck meet different client and project requirements.

Laser Profiling for Detailed Pipe Analysis

One of PipeCheck's specialties is laser-assisted pipe profiling. This type of inspection can provide additional dimensional information about pipe geometry, including changes in diameter, deformation, and other profile characteristics.

POSM works with the Rausch inspection workflow to organize measurement data, inspection media, and reports so project engineers and clients can review the results alongside the rest of the inspection record.

Custom Work From POSM

Over the years, POSM has developed custom routines, templates, and reports to support PipeCheck projects with specific deliverable requirements.

That flexibility has allowed PipeCheck to adapt its inspection outputs for clients such as transportation agencies, utilities, and other organizations without abandoning the core POSM workflow used by its field and office teams.

“Beyond Out-of-the-Box” Support

PipeCheck's founder credited POSM's willingness to listen, adapt, and help develop solutions for unusual project requirements as an important part of the relationship.

When specialized reporting, data handling, or inspection scenarios arise, POSM can work with customers to determine whether existing tools can be configured for the job or whether a more customized approach is appropriate.
